What are the dates of the Festival? 
Horizon Festival is held from Friday 27th August - Sunday 5th September, 2021.

Where can I get a printed program?
Hard copies of the program guide will distributed around the Sunshine Coast after our program launch. If you’d like a copy posted to you, please email us on horizon@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.

Where is the Festival held?
Horizon Festival has events, activities and workshops all across the Sunshine Coast, from Glass House Mountains in the south to Coolum Beach and Eumundi in the north. This year our festival hub is the Wonderland Spiegeltent at Cotton Tree Park. Our Box Office is located right next to the Spiegeltent too so you can book tickets in person there. You can explore our event program by location. here.

Can the kids come?
Horizon is a family-friendly Festival; with a dedicated family program designed for kids of all ages.

I'm an artist/performer - can I be involved in the Festival? 
Horizon Festival is a fully curated event with the program developed by the festival’s programming team. We do invite expressions of interest from artists and creative practitioners for specific elements of our program each year. Our program for 2021 has been finalised and we will start program development for the 2022 festival in the second half of the year. If you wish to put forward a program idea, please email horizon@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au and make sure you are signed up for our e-news and social media channels so you can stay up to date with information

I'm a vendor - can I be involved in the Festival?
We have finalised the program including vendor opportunities for the 2021 festival. If you wish to be considered for future festivals, please email horizon@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au for expressions of interest.

If attendees have individual needs, how can they let Horizon Festival know?

Will events include Auslan Interpretation?
Selected sessions of events will include Auslan Interpretation. To book tickets with clear sightlines to Auslan interpreters, please contact us via horizon@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au or (07) 5420 8008.

How can I find out which events have Auslan Interpretation?

What do I do if I can’t attend an event due to COVID-19 reasons?
Horizon Festival via Eventfinda will provide a refund or exchange, where you advise before the event that you or any other members of your booking party: 
A) are required to isolate or quarantine under laws aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19 (and the event falls within the isolation/quarantine period)
B) are diagnosed as having COVID-19;
C) exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell)
D) have been in close contact with anyone displaying COVID Symptoms; or
E) have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting the results (and the event falls within the period of awaiting test results).
If you have purchased a ticket for an event directly with The Events Centre, Sunshine Coast Libraries, Caloundra Regional Gallery or The Shed at Banana Bender Pub and have symptoms of COVID-19 or meet any of the conditions above, please contact the venue directly for further assistance. 

What do I do if I’m not feeling well on the day of, or leading up to the event?
Please stay home if you are unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.

Is there social distancing at Horizon Festival?
Yes there is. Please keep 1.5m between yourself and other attendees. You may attend events in your social or household group.

Will I need to check in at Horizon Festival events?
Yes you will. Please download the Queensland Government Check in QLD app before attending.

Where can I find your COVID Safe Plan?
Our COVID Safe Plan will be updated based on advice from the Queensland Government, with updated information available on our website and via our social media channels.
