It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of Horizon Festival 2021.
In the interest of community safety and in light of the recent lockdown and the restrictions in place, Horizon Festival will not proceed in 2021.
The impact of the lockdown and uncertainty of what may unfold over the coming weeks has made festival delivery extremely challenging.
Featuring hundreds of artists, Horizon Festival 2021 was shaping up to be an incredible 10 days and we are devastated not to be able to present these events, artworks and experiences for our community to enjoy.
Anyone who purchased tickets to Horizon Festival events will be contacted in the coming days to arrange a full refund. Please bear with us as we work through this over the coming days with our ticketing partner, Eventfinda.
A limited number of events delivered by our event partners, Arts Front, Caloundra Regional Gallery, Eumundi School of Rock, USC Art Gallery and Writers Republic may still proceed subject to Qld Health advice and viability based on event restrictions. Ticket holders to these events will be contacted directly with further advice and the event pages on our website will display the latest information.
While the COVID situation continues to move rapidly, we are exploring ways that audiences may be able to experience Horizon Festival and support our artists over the coming months, with the full-scale festival to return in 2022.
